Head of Strategic Partnerships (eCommerce)

Role Overview:  

We are seeking a Head of Strategic Partnerships to define, drive and execute partner initiatives with key retail platform providers, agencies and technology companies. In your role you will build relationships, evaluate opportunities, determine the business case for investments, and negotiate contracts. You will work closely with leadership to set strategy and influence the product functionality required to support a robust partner ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Your mandate will include:

  • Technology integration partnerships: defining, establishing and expanding partnerships with other eCommerce application providers
  • Platform partnerships: deepening relationships with existing eCommerce platform providers Shopify, and BigCommerce; evaluating platform expansion opportunities.
  • Ad Tech partnerships: working with the leadership team to foster partnerships with Google and other technology platforms; nurturing and expanding these relationships.
  • Affiliate relationships: Developing relationships with key agencies and other potential affiliate partners, defining and establishing a repeatable model; working with internal stakeholders to establish the business operations to nurture, support and scale this channel.

APPLY FOR THIS POSITION
Requirements:
  • Experience in either ecommerce or online advertising a must.
  • 3+ years’ experience in business development and/or strategic partnerships in technology
  • Analytical ability to drive strong commercial outcomes for both LimeSpot and our partners
  • Expertise developing business cases, financial analysis and modeling, and familiarity legal agreements
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and multitask with excellent organizational skills
  • Technical acumen to be able to understand, evaluate, and communicate the benefits of LimeSpot’s and our partners’ products
  • Strong internal and external communication abilities, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
